Location:This 8.5-acre retail site is conveniently located at the southeast corner of McKee Road (Hwy. PD) and Maple Grove Drive on the southwest side of Madison. The main access corridor is McKee Road, with traffic counts in excess of 15,000 cars per day. This site is conveniently located at the hub of several of Madison’s fastest growing neighborhoods, including the following:

Improvements: Prior to the opening of any of the retail stores, we installed a four-way stoplight signal at this intersection. In addition, we widened the adjacent sections of McKee Road and Maple Grove Drive. Maple Grove Drive was widened and upgraded to include a right-turn lane at the intersection. McKee Road was widened to four lanes with a bus stop located at the north end of the site. In 2003, the stretch of McKee Road between Verona Road and Maple Grove Drive was widened to a full four-lane urban roadway with a center median and turn/bus lanes.

Pick ‘n Save Food Store and Central Market: Roundy’s, Inc., the parent company of various independent and corporate stores throughout the Midwest, is also the parent company behind this Pick ‘n Save Food Store and Central Market. While you may be familiar with the "Pick ‘n Save" name, the "Central Market" concept is Roundy’s newest prototype. This store features a convenient side entrance to a separate European-style market for shoppers looking to make a quick trip through the specialty meats, deli, produce, bakery or wine and cheese sections without walking through the store’s large selection of dry goods grocery items.

Walgreen Pharmacy: The Walgreen Company also recognized the growth that continues in this southwest side neighborhood. This drug store features a double drive-through window for prescription pick-ups. Walgreen Company has made a name for itself in acquiring many of the most prominent retail corners throughout the country.
